Accountability, with context
Racist remarks shouldn’t disappear.
Seen racism on social media? Put em On Front Street is building a place to document public remarks, preserve the context, and make accountability easier.
In development. Public submissions aren’t open yet.
Our ground rules, from day one.
- Evidence over accusations
- Context before conclusions
- No doxxing. No threats.
The idea behind Front Street
Make the record clear.
Not the noise louder.
A planned web and app database for documenting racist public posts. Here’s the approach we’re building around.
The central idea
No home addresses, phone numbers, private messages, or calls to contact someone.
- 01
Capture what was actually said.
Save the public post’s link and date. Keep the full exchange where it’s needed to understand the remark.
- 02
Separate evidence from interpretation.
Explain the concern clearly. Don’t invent motives, alter screenshots, or pass someone else’s accusation off as fact.
- 03
Leave room for review.
Our intended submission process includes review and a way to flag errors. Accountability needs accuracy—and corrections when we get it wrong.
Start with the facts
Saw something?
Keep a clear record.
While we build Front Street, you can prepare your evidence. Don’t engage in harassment or share private information.
Before you report
